To dial, delete or edit entries
To dial, delete or edit a directory entry (name
and number), the entry must be displayed on the
handset. Use directory search or review (pages
39-40) to display an entry.
Display dial
To dial a displayed number from the directory,
• Press
PHONE
/FLASH
or SPEAKER on a
cordless handset.
-OR-
• Press DISP DIAL or SPEAKER on the
telephone base, or lift the corded handset.
To delete an entry
When a directory entry is displayed, press
MUTE/
REMOVE on a cordless handset or press
X DELETE on the telephone base to delete the
displayed entry from the directory. Once deleted,
an entry cannot be retrieved.
To edit an entry
Using a cordless handset:
When a directory entry is displayed:
1. Press
MENU/
SELECT to modify the entry. You will
be prompted to EDIT NUMBER.
• Press the dial pad keys to add digits.
• Press
MUTE/
REMOVE to erase digits.
• Press or to move the cursor.
• Press and hold
REDIAL/
PAUSE to add a
three-second pause if desired.
• Press REDIAL
/PAUSE,
then or to scroll
to a previously dialed number. Press
MENU/
SELECT to add the redial number to
the entry.
