Handset display screen messages
DIRECTORY EMPTY You are accessing an empty directory.
MICROPHONE MUTED The handset microphone is now muted.
LOW BATTERY The battery needs to be recharged.
INCOMING
CALL
There is an incoming call.
ENDED You have just disconnected a call.
CALL LOG EMPTY You are accessing an empty call log.
Screen display messages
TONE
MUTE
DELETE
REDIAL
PAUSE
XX MISSED CALLS There are new calls in the caller ID log.
CONNECTING ... The handset has lost connection with
the telephone base.
LINE IN USE The other handsets or another telephone
on the same line is in use.
ALREADY SAVED The telephone number you have
entered is already stored in the direc-
tory.
Another handset is calling.
LIST FULL You are attempting to save to a full
directory.
CHARGING A handset with a low battery has been
placed to charge in the telephone base
or charger.
MUTE has been turned off and the person
on the other end can hear you.
MICROPHONE ON
The intercom call has just been ended by
the person on either handset.
INTERCOM ENDED
You have placed an intercom call to
another handset.
CALLING
HANDSET X
HANDSET X
IS CALLING
INTERCOM The handset is in an intercom call.
CALL TRANSFERRED An external call is transferred to the desti-
nation handset.
