REMOTE TURN-ON & TURN-OFF
POWER CENTER
The RT-5 provides a convenient means to remote control a
single component or power strip with a maximum twelve (12)
amp* load. A two position terminal strip on the front connects
to a remote, latching contact closure. This activation design
also allows incorporation of an emergency alarm triggered
turn off. (*The RT-5 has a 15 amp rated circuit breaker and 15
amp rated components.)
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The RT-5 is designed to operate on 120 volts, 60 hertz. Operation
with any voltage or frequency other than that can damage the equip-
ment and create an unsafe situation.
CAUTION #1: The RT-5 must be grounded. If a power extension cord is
required, use a properly insulated and grounded cord. Failure to
ground the device could expose user to dangerous electric shock.
CAUTION #2: The RT-5 should be installed and used with only appro-
priate mounting hardware in a manner described in this document.
CAUTION #3: Do not expose the RT-5 to moisture or salty air. Doing
so could cause significant damage and create an unsafe condition.
