Removing the Clip
While grasping Volta and
iPod at both ends in the
palms of your hands, use your

edge of the clip off the iPod.

Assemble the Clip
Although it is not necessary to use the included clip for
stationery use, we recommend you use the clip to keep Volta
connected securely to your iPod.
A. Aligning the arrows, insert the belt clip u into the
assembly clip v, and then turn it clockwise until it stops.
B. Align the bottom edge of the assembly clip v with the lip
on the back of Volta, hook one edge of the clip over one
edge on the front of the iPod w, and then snap the other
edge of the clip over the other edge.

Using Volta With Your iPod
To provide power to your iPod, press Volta’s power button (so
that the LEDs on the front are lit). When Volta is on, your
iPod’s display will indicate it is being charged. When Volta is
off, it does not provide power to your iPod.
• Volta must be charged separately from your iPod. The high-
capacity Volta battery requires 100% of USB port power.
• Volta’s standby time is approximately one week.
• To extend the life of Volta, fully charge and discharge it once
a month.
