7) Object and Liquid Entry:
Never push objects of any kind into this monitor through openings as they may
touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that would result in a fire or
electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the monitor.

8) Repair (Servicing):
Do not attempt to repair this monitor yourself as opening or removing covers
may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer to qualified serv-
ice personnel.

9) Replacement Parts:
When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician uses
replacement parts specified by supplier or have the same characteristics as the
original parts. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, or
other hazards.

10) Safety Check:
Upon completion of any service or repair to this monitor, ask the
service technician to perform safety checks to determine that the
monitor is in proper operating condition.

11) Retain Instructions:
The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.

General

Scope
1) The information in this instruction manual covers installation and operations
of the Color Monitor.

2) These units should be installed with approved materials and wiring practices
in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local wiring ordi-
nances.

Introduction
1) The Color Monitor, having a resolution of more than 450/500 lines (NTSC) or
520/600 lines (PAL), produces high quality pictures on a 14" screen. Designed
primarily for industrial applications, this monitor accepts standard EIA color input
signals.

2) The menu’s picture settings include: Contrast, Bright, Color, Tint, Sharp, B.B.
