ASUS AP1700
Redundant Power Modules
The redundant power model has two power supply modules. This hot
swap power module can be removed or installed while the server is
powered ON. Only one power module is necessary for powering the
server, in case two power supply modules are installed, the task of
providing power to the server is shared.
To remove the redundant power supply module, follow these steps.
1. Remove the screw.
2. Pull on the handle while pressing down the rubber lever.
