What to do, when ...
Try to rectify minor faults on the dishwasher with the aid of the 
instructions given here. If you call in customer service to resolve one of 
the malfunctions listed here, or rectify an error made in the operation 
of the appliance, the customer service engineer’s visit is not free of 
charge, even during the period of guarantee. 
...Fault messages are displayed.
• If the multi-display indicates the fault code (2, or the WATER,
DOOR or SPRAY ARM indicator illuminates, you can probably rec-
tify the fault yourself. Following rectification of a (2 fault or a fault 
related to the WATER indicator, press the button for the wash pro-
gramme that has been started. The wash programme continues. If the 
fault code is displayed again, contact customer service.
• For all other faults that are indicated, please contact customer serv-
ice stating the fault code.
Malfunction
Possible Cause
Remedy
The programme indicator for 
the programme selected is 
flashing, the WATER indica-
tor is illuminated and 
1 warning tone can be 
heard that is continually 
repeated: no water is run-
ning into the dishwasher.
Tap is blocked or furred 
with lime-scale.
Clean tap.
The filter (where present) 
in the threaded hose fit-
ting at the water inlet 
valve is blocked.
Clean the filter in the 
threaded hose fitting.
The water inlet hose
is not correctly laid.
Check hose
installation.
The programme indicator for 
the selected programme is 
flashing, the multi-display is 
indicating the fault code (2 
and 2 warning tones can be 
heard that are continually 
repeated.
The siphon is blocked.
Clean siphon.
The water drain hose
is not correctly laid.
Check hose
installation.
The multi-display is indicat-
ing the fault code (3 and
3 warning tones can be 
heard that are continually 
repeated.
The anti-flood system 
has been triggered.
Close the tap and contact 
customer service.
