To Do this
Go to the beginning of the next track Press > once.* 1
Go to the beginning of the current track Press . once.
Go to the beginning of previous tracks Press . repeatedly.
Press and hold . to quickly locate the track you
want.*

Go to the beginning of succeeding tracks Press > repeatedly.* 1
Press and hold > to quickly locate the track you

Adjust the volume* 3 Press VOL +/–.
Press and hold VOL +/– to quickly turn up or down
the volume.
Stop playback Press PLAY/STOP.
Turn off the power Set the POWER switch to OFF.
*1 A short beep sounds for each track. When you press > during the last track or .during the first track,
a long beep sounds.
*2 While holding down the button, a short beep sounds for each track. When the first track is reached, a series
of three short beeps sound and playback starts from the beginning of the first track.
*3 If you turn off the power with the volume set higher than a certain level, the volume will be lowered
automatically next time you turn on the power, to prevent damage to your hearing.
Tip
Playback starts from the position where it was last stopped.
To start playback from the first track, press and hold . or > to return to the first track.
