. Start playback.

1 Set the POWER switch to ON/STANDBY.
2 Press and hold PLAY/STOP for more than one second.
A short beep is heard in the headphones and playback starts. The OPE indicator
slowly flashes in green.
3 Press VOL +/– to adjust the volume.
Playback stops after the last track has been played.
About the Auto Power Off function
If there are no operations for more than 180 seconds after recording or playback has been
stopped, the power will turn off automatically. When you do not use the player, however, always
set the POWER switch to OFF to prevent the buttons from being accidentally operated.
