SERVICE RECOMMENDATIONS
CHECK, CLEAN or REPLACE Radiator Filter Daily. (Part# 2502780)
CAUTION
Failure to maintain filter will cause engine to OVER HEAT

NOTE:
Bearings in outboard support do NOT require any service
Change engine oil every 100 hours.
Change air filter every 100 hours.
Belt Service
NEVER over tighten the 5VX1000 blade shaft belts. These belts need to slip, if the
blade is pinched.
When installing Poly Chain Belt (Part# 2502776) be sure to NOT over tighten this belt.
It should have about ½” of deflection.
CAUTION:
THIS IS A KEVLAR BELT THAT DOES NOT STRETCH!
OVER TIGHTENING OF THIS BELT WILL CAUSE IT TO BREAK.
