INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
DEALER INSTALLATION STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!
Remove the factory bezel. Remove the lock from the driver and passenger side front bezel.
Remove the retaining clip on the lock. Remove the lock from the factory bezel. Unfortunately this
will destroy the plastic part. Remove the small rubber washer from the lock hole. Place the rubber
washer in the new Defenderworx bezel and put the lock in.
Install the small aluminum spacer ring around the lock tube with the ears down against the tabs of
the lock. Install the original spring clip seated in the slots to hold lock and spacer in place. It is very
important that this spacer be installed or the lock will not be tight against the front of the bezel.
Install the three set-screws in each bezel. Remove the rectangular clip pressed in the front of the
plastic part and install it in the new bezel, this is the hole that the handle goes through to work the
lock assembly. If you are using factory handles remove it from the original and install it in the billet
bezel. If installing Defenderworx handle install in the bezel using supplied pins and clips. Install all
the remainder of the lock parts as they were installed in the original.
