SAFETY OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
► This product is not designed to work under static loading.
► Glass elements must be protected from breaks as a result of stroke, shock or dropping.
► The balance should be cleaned with wet wipe, however, do not let the water inside the
unit. Do not use chemical agents. The glass element, which stays in contact with metal,
can not have contract with water or other liquids.
► The balance must be stored in a cold and dry place, avoid humid and hot localizations.
► The balance must be stored in horizontal position – never leave the unit in vertical
position!
► The balance is designed to weigh human’s body – do not use it for commercial
purposes!
► Take much care when using the unit – it’s very precise device. Do not jump on it and do
not throw it.
► If the balance is not supposed to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries.
► Weighing in should be made always on the same unit on the same surface.
► Unequal surface may have impact on the result – the best weighing efficiency is provided
when the balance lies on flat and hard surface.
► The balance rounds the result down by about 0,1 kg. In case there were taking two
measurements of the same person and there were provided two different results, the
average value should be assumed to be correct one.
► The top area of the balance must be dry, otherwise, one can slide on it.
► This unit is not designed to be used by persons (in these children) with limited physical
capabilities as well as sensual or psycho capabilities. It is also designed for persons
without relevant experience, however, such persons must be supervised and observe the
manual handed over by persons responsible for safety.
► Children can not play with the unit.
APPLIANCE DESCRIPTION
The scale has been designed for an accurate measurement of body weight increase or
reduction in determined period and its service life should be long, provided that the
appliance is used in proper conditions. The appliance is supplied by means of CR 2032
3V battery which accessible after the opening of the container incorporating the batteries.
When replacing the battery pay attention on its correct installation and the couple polarity.
In order to enable the selection of the weight units i.e. kilograms (kg), (lb) the appliance has
been provided with weight units selector switch kg, lb (1 kg = 2,2 lb).
