Maintenance and Service
Minuteman system maintenance II
The following maintenance work
must be completed annually at an au-
thorized Minuteman service center.

All maintenance work in accordance with Minuteman system maintenance I

Check the function of the operating panel
o
Check thew function of the on-board charger (only Minuteman KS
28
B)
o
Check the Bowden cables for signs of wear; change, if necessary
o
Check the suction turbine for signs of wear; change, if necessary
o
Check the rotary brush bearing in terms of play and for signs of wear;
change, if necessary
o
Check the steering castor in respect of its running surface and bearing play;
change, if necessary
o
Check the rear wheels for bearing clearance and signs of wear of the running sur-
face; replace the wheel bearings and rear wheels, if necessary
o
Change the spark plug
o
Clean the drive motor from carbon dust, check the carbon brushes run smoothly and
for signs of wear; change the carbon brushes, if necessary
o
Test drive and function test
o
