5.5 Cleaning the motor
protection filter
The motor protection filter, underneath
the filter compartment, must be
checked regularly for accumulation of
dirt and, when necessary, tapped clean
or replaced by a new one.
Proceed as follows to replace the motor
protection filter:
1. Open the filter compartment
(Fig. 8/1) and remove the protection
filter in accordance with Fig. 8.
2. Open up the filter support (Fig. 8/3),
remove the filter cloth (Fig. 8/2) and
clean it.
Ensure the motor protection
filter is fitted correctly because
this filter protects the air intake
section from dirt.
