Introduction:
This manual covers the repair and rebuilding of the 1-1/4” diameter by 2” stroke length.
There are several variations of the Patriot fluid section but most will only have small
differences. Most of the procedures will be the same only with slightly different parts.
The important differences will be noted or covered in a separate section. It is important
to have a current drawing for the fluid section you are working on.

The Heavy Duty (-HD) version of the fluid section requires the heavy duty Fluid Rod
(PAT-LS-1008-HD) which is only used with the 7” or 10” Heavy Duty power head
configurations. The heavy duty Fluid Rod (PAT-LS-1008-HD) can be used in most of
the other versions to make them heavy duty as well.
The Patriot DUO Fluid section (PAT-LS-12270-D) also uses a different Fluid Rod (PAT-
LS-1028).
