4.2. Quick Installation Guide
4.2.1. Connect PC and MPC1050IR to network.
1. Prepare a PC to run programs for the installation and video connection
(PC is needed to assign IP address to MPC1050IR)
2. Connect MPC1050IR as shown in dotted line in Figure 4-1. The DC power through DC adaptor is no
need to connect if LAN switch supports PoE (IEEE802.3af).

4.2.2. Install IP installer and set IP parameters on MPC1050IR
Run the CD and Install IP Installer included in CD. Once install IP Installer, “WinPcap” will be installed. If not
install “WinPCap”, IP Installer won’t operate.
IP installer Ver. 3.0.1 or later is needed in the configuration of MPC1050IR.
Follow the sequence below for setting the IP parameter
