SECTION 3 - HAZARD IDENTIFICATION/HEALTH EFFECTS
SWALLOWED:
May irritate esophagus and stomach is swallowed
EYE:
Causes eye irritation
SKIN:
Potential skin irritant
INHALED:
May cause irritation to upper respiratory track if inhaled
CARCINOGENICITY:
This material is not listed (IARC, NTP, OSHA) as a cancer
causing agent.
SECTION 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES
SWALLOWED:
If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical
attention immediately. If victim is conscious, give a plenty of
water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscios
EYE:
If in eyes, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at
least 15 minutes. Get medical attention immediately if irritation
persists.
SKIN:
In on skin, flush with plenty of water. Remove contaminated
clothings. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
INHALED:
If inhaled, remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give
artificial respiration. Get medical attention if any irritation and
burning of the throat developes.
NOTE TO PHYSICIAN:
Treat symptomatically as indicated for exposure to alkaline
substances. Asthma, lung diseases and skin conditions may
be aggravated by exposure
Do not get in eye. Material will induce burning pain of the eyes, redness and tearing. Material may cause burning or
itching in nose and throat if inhaled. Material may induce slight itching or buring on skin.
