Suspended Units
H3 Series horizontal air handling units are
equipped for suspended installations. The
unit should be lifted into position by
supporting the unit with the skid used for
shipping. The air handling unit must be
installed level and care should be taken to
prevent damage to the cabinet. Other installation provisions may be necessary
according to job specifications. Figure 4
and Figure 5 show factory recommended
methods for suspended installations. It is
the responsibility of the specifying engineer
or installing contractor to ensure the
installation is structurally safe and sound.
