Shell and Tube Condenser
Factory installed
cleanable shell and tube condenser with enhanced
copper tube geometry. Provides removable, epoxy
coated, water plates to facilitate cleaning.
Motorized or Manual Water Isolation
Valves and Flush Ports
Factory installed
water isolation valves and fl ush ports provide
isolation to the module for maintenance and
cleaning of evaporator and condenser heat
exchangers while adjacent modules continue
normal operation. Both motorized and manual
valves include standard ¾” fi ll and fl ush valves.
Condenser Water Head Pressure
Regulating Control
Factory installed
motorized condenser water valves provide head
pressure regulation for low entering condenser
water temperature applications (less than 60°F).
Hot Gas Bypass
Factory installed allowing unit
operation below the minimum step of unloading.
Soft Start
Factory installed to reduce voltage
starting for lower inrush current.
Water Header Bypass
A fi eld installed
water header bypass may be utilized to prevent
deadheading the pump.
Pressure Diff erential Flow Sensor
Field
installed to prevent operation of chiller without
suffi cient water fl ow to evaporator and condenser.
Automatic CS Series Strainer Package
Field installed high quality stainless steel fi ltration
systems with minimum 60 mesh stainless steel
screens. Available options include pressure
diff erential alarm and automatic time fl ush.
Manual Strainers
Field installed to increase
effi ciency and ensure long life of the equipment
with Y-style and Basket strainers of cast iron 200
psi or carbon 275 psi with 60 mesh stainless steel
screens. All strainers are fi eld installed external to
the chiller bank for ease of service.
