Select the DIM Diagnostic in the Diagnostics section of the
Main Menu (Figure 4).

Once selected you will be prompted to confirm your
selection (Figure 5).

Select OK and you will be prompted to enter the
Administrator password. Enter the password and select the
check box Figure 6).

The system will now enter DIM Diagnostic Mode (Figure 7).

Step 2
Connect to the console via an Ethernet connection,
and reboot the system (soft boot) by choosing
tools \ reboot system.
Using a NULL modem cable connect COM Port 2 of the T5
series console to a COM port on a PC.

Open a terminal emulator program (e.g. Hyper Terminal) with
protocol setting of 57600 Baud, 8 Data Bits, No Parity, and 1
Stop Bit (Figure 9-11).
