IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. DO NOT leave the power nozzle plugged in when not in use. Unplug when not in use
and before servicing.
2. DO NOT use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
3. DO NOT allow to be used as a toy. Pay close attention when using the vacuum near
children.
4. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended
attachments and replacement parts.
5. DO NOT USE A DAMAGED CORD OR PLUG. If the power nozzle is not working as it
should, or if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or exposed to water, return
it to an authorized ProTeam Warranty Station for inspection (866) 888-2168.
6. DO NOT pull or carry by the cord or use the cord as a handle. Do not close a door
on the cord or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run over the cord.
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
7. DO NOT pull on the cord to unplug. Grasp the plug at the outlet and pull.
8. DO NOT handle the plug or vacuum with wet hands.
9. DO NOT put any objects into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep
free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
10. This power nozzle creates suction and contains a revolving brush roll. Keep hair, loose
clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
11. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
12. Use with extra care when cleaning stairs.
13. DO NOT vacuum flammable or combustible materials or anything that is burning or
smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
14. The hose contains electrical wires. Do not use when damaged, cut, or punctured. Avoid
picking up sharp objects.
15. Always turn off this appliance before connecting or disconnecting either hose or motor-
ized nozzle.
16. The power nozzle is provided with double insulation. Use only identical replacement
parts. See electrical instructions of double insulated appliances.
17. DO NOT pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or
hot ashes.
