Before starting
22 Open the front cover on the machine and check
that the dust bag s-bag® and the motor filter are
in place. (See also Maintaining the filters.)
23 Open the back lid on the machine and check that
the exhaust filter is in place.
24 Insert the hose until the catches click to engage
(press the catches to release the hose).
25 Insert the hose into the hose handle until the
catches click to engage (press the catches to
release the hose).
26 Attach the telescopic tube* to the hose handle
and nozzle by pushing and twisting together.
(Twist and pull apart to dismantle.)
(certain models have a lock button that must be
pressed before the hose and telescopic tube can
be pulled apart)
27 Pull out the power cord and connect it to the
mains.
28 To rewind the cord, press the cordwinder pedal.
29 Start the vacuum cleaner by rotating the power
control in the direction of the “Max” position.
Increase suction power by rotating the control
further up to “Max” position. Stop the vacuum
cleaner by rotating in the opposite direction to
“Off” position.
In order to achieve an optimal cyclone effect in
the cleaner, the power regulation should always
be in the “Max” position.
30 Suction power can also be adjusted by using the
suction control on the hose handle.
Ideal parking position for pausing (31a) and stor-
ing (31b).

Vorbereitungen
22 Frontabdeckung des Geräts öffnen und kontrol-
lieren, dass Staubbeutel s-bag® und Motorfilter
eingesetzt sind (siehe auch „Filterwechsel“).
23 Hintere Abdeckung des Geräts öffnen und kont-
rollieren, dass der Abluftfilter eingesetzt ist.
24 Schlauch einführen, bis Verriegelung einrastet.
Zur Freigabe des Schlauches ist die Verriegelung
zu drücken.
25 Schlauch in den Schlauchgriff einführen, bis Ver-
riegelung einrastet. Zur Freigabe des Schlauches
Verriegelung drücken.
26 Teleskoprohr* durch Drehen und Zusammen-
schieben an Schlauchgriff und Bodendüse an-
bringen. (Zum Zerlegen drehen und auseinander
ziehen.) (Bestimmte Modelle verfügen über
einen Verriegelungsknopf, der zum Trennen von
Schlauch und Teleskoprohr gedrückt werden
muss.)
27 Das Netzkabel herausziehen und an eine Netz-
steckdose anschließen.
28 Zum Zurückspulen des Kabels Fußpedal drücken.
Das Kabel wird dann aufgewickelt.
29 Zum Einschalten des Staubsaugers Leistungs-
regler in Richtung „Max“ schieben. Saugleistung
durch Schieben des Leistungsreglers in Richtung
„Max“ erhöhen.
Zum Ausschalten des Staubsaugers Leistungs-
regler in die entgegengesetzte Richtung in die
Stellung „Aus“ schieben.
Um im Gerät einen optimalen Zykloneffekt zu er-
zielen, sollte der Leistungsregler stets auf „Max“
gestellt werden.
30 Saugleistung kann auch mithilfe der Saugsteue-
rung am Schlauchgriff eingestellt werden.
Ideale Parkpositionen für Arbeitspausen (31a)
und Aufbewahrung (31b).
