8. Maintenance/Disassembly
Pumps are subject to wear. If the pump is blocked or grinding noises are audible, check
the pump and replace it if necessary. Procedure:
- Disconnect pump from the mains.
- Close the connection lines.
- Loosen the union nut and remove the motor (Residual water
may leak out of the rotor cavity. Prevent the electrical
connection to the pump from getting wet.).
When replacing non-LOWARA motors, use the additionally included flat seal. The groove
for holding the flat seal in non-LOWARA pump housings has an additional ridge that can
cause leakage when used with an O-ring seal.
9. Troubleshooting
Work on electrical parts may only be performed by authorized
specialists.

Malfunctioning pumps can be returned to the manufacturer‘s address. The manufacturer
will refuse to accept packages with unpaid shipping or invoices for repair. The
manufacturer grants a two-year guarantee under the condition of correct installation and
proper use.
