Rear Panel Installation
Note: In order ensure the highest performance, install 40698 by following these
steps: Ensure that power is off on the computer and display before beginning
setup.
Step 1
Connect the included VGA cable from the “VGA Output” of your computer to "VGA
IN" on the rear panel of 40698.
Note: If you want to loop out the VGA signal to another monitor please follow
Step 2.
Step 2
Connect the VGA cable from “VGA OUT” on the rear panel of the 40698 to the
“VGA Input” of the monitor.
Step 3
Connect the included Video RCA cable from the “Video Out” of the 40698 to the
“Video Input” of your display.
Note: For highest quality image it is recommended that you use S-Video
input if available on display. See step 4 if display has S-Video Input.
Step 4
Connect included S-Video Cable from the S-VIDEO OUT on the rear panel of
40698 to S-Video input of your display.
Caution! The S-Video Connector has special orientation.
Be aware of plug orientation. Damage to unit or cable may occur if not
properly oriented.
Step 5
Review the table and set according to your required format (as indicated in
picture):
