Remove the AHC (Adjustable Height Control) relay and fuse (located in the fuse/relay
panel in the engine bay), the H N L lights on the dash will remain on.
2.0
Raise vehicle.
3.0
Remove rear wheels.
NOTE: EMPLOY THE SAME MANNER DESCRIBED BELOW TO THE
OTHER SIDE.
4.0
Remove the 2 bolts holding the pressure hose, cap pressure hose and secure.
5.0
Remove the bolt from and disconnect the shock absorber from the axle housing (Figure
A).

While holding the piston rod, remove the nut on the top of the shock absorber, 2
retainers, cushion and shock absorber (Figure B).
