Installation
Remove the caps from the plaster shields on the rough
valve (1). Cut the plaster shields so that they extend
1/16” outside the surface of the finished wall (2). Seal
the wall around the plaster shields with waterproof seal-
ant.
Remove the plug from the spout outlet using a 17 mm
socket wrench (1).
Install the slip coupling on one of the the valves (2). Mark
a point on the slip coupling 3/16” from the surface of
the finished wall. Cut the slip coupling at that point (3).
Repeat with the second slip coupling.
Install the spindle extension on one of the valves (1).
Mark a point on the spindle extension 9/16” from the sur-
face of the finished wall. Cut the spindle extension at that
point (2). Repeat with the second spindle extension.
