Wall Outlet 27454XX2
Installation Considerations
•
This unit requires a 1/2" male threaded
nipple, extending 5/8" outside the
surface of the finished wall.
•
Model 27458XX2 incorporates an
atmospheric vacuum breaker. It is listed
by Underwriters Laboratories.
•
Model 27454XX2 does not incorporate
any type of backflow prevention. If
required, use Hansgrohe external
vacuum breaker 06510XX0.
Installation Instructions
Wrap the threads on the nipple with several
layers of Teflon tape.
Seal the wall around the nipple with a
waterproof sealant.
Push the black gasket over the nipple and
firmly against the wall.
Screw the elbow to the nipple.
Install the decorative cover over the nipple.
Press it firmly against the gasket - it should
snap into place.
Note on 27458XX2: It is normal for a few drops of water to appear in the vacuum
breaker vent holes when the water is first turned on, and again when it is turned off.
