" machine screws, nuts, and star washers provided.

On Top Of Dash: Wipe the dashtop clean with an alcohol
pad or other surface cleaner. Remove the backing from the
adhesive Velcro tape on the bottom of the console
adapter, position the console adapter in the appropriate
location, and press down firmly. Once the gauges are
wired and secured to the console (see the following
instructions), attach the console assembly to the console
adapter using the two machine screws provided.

TACHOMETER SENSOR

Scrape away the paint from two areas directly
opposite from each other on the engine side of the

harmonic balancer or vibration damper.

Roughen the bare metal with an emery cloth and

clean the magnets and bare metal with alcohol to

remove any oil or grease so that the glue will bond.

On a clean sheet of cardboard thoroughly mix

equal parts of glue from the two packages. The

epoxy will set in about five minutes.

Glue each magnet to the damper with the Blue side

out and with the magnets directly across from each

other to maintain balance. Also cover the magnets with
epoxy. Align the magnets with the front edge of the
damper or balancer to avoid interference with the timing
bracket. Follow the instructions on the glue packet
enclosed in your kit, allowing the glue to dry before
starting the engine.

cause cuts or other damage. Route or tie wires away from critical areas as
required. Keep all wires a minimum of 6" from hot exhaust parts, 8" or more
is recommended whenever possible.
