8. Troubleshooting
Symptom Possible Cause Corrective Action
Unit doesn’t start
Unit is pressurised Squeeze trigger on gun
Plug is not well connected or
electric socket is faulty
Check plug, socket and fuse
Extension cord too long or wire
size too small
Remove extension cord
Mains voltage supply too low Check that main supply voltage
age is adequate
Thermal safety switch has tripped Switch off unit and allow motor to
cool down
Pump doesn’t reach necessary
pressure
Water inlet filter is clogged Clean water inlet filter
Pump sucking air from hose
connections
Check that connections and
locking ring are properly
tightened
Nozzle worn or wrong size Contact your dealer
Unloader clogged or worn Contact your dealer
Valves clogged or worn Contact your dealer
Fluctuating pressure
Pump sucking in air Check that hoses and connections
are tight
Clogged nozzle Clean with tip cleaner (see
higher)
Valves dirty, worn or stuck Contact your dealer
Water seals worn Contact your dealer
Motor stops suddenly
