• Make sure the rotation of the mirror ball is never hampered and that no side forces can impact on the
installation.
• The installation has to be approved by an expert before the device is taken into service.
5. Use
Remove the cover of the battery operated mirror ball motor, insert a D-size alkaline battery and close the
cover.
Attach the ball + chain to the motor and set the power switch to ON. The mirror ball will start turning at
1.5 RPM.
After connecting the pin spot to the mains, the lamp will be on. By aiming the spot towards the mirror
ball, you will obtain a beautiful, colourful effect.
6. Maintenance
1. All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
2. The housing, the lenses, the mounting supports and the installation location should not be deformed,
modified or tampered with e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting supports, do not change the
location of the connections, …
3. Mechanically moving parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
4. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the
device.
5. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
6. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
7. There are no user-serviceable parts, apart from the lamp (see “4. Installation”).
8. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
9. Check regularly if the key ring or chain shackles have been deformed. If so, demount the mirror ball
immediately.
