With the serial number, you can access the delivery data of the instru-
ment via www.vega.com, "VEGA Tools" and "serial number search".
In addition to the type label outside, you can also find the serial num-
ber on the inside of the instrument.
3.2 Principle of operation
The VEGABAR 67 is a suspension pressure transmitter for level
measurement in vessels under difficult conditions (cold media, warm
humid environment). Measured products can be all media against
which the wetted materials of are resistant.
The METEC
®
measuring cell is the measuring unit. It consists of the
ceramic-capacitive CERTEC
®
absolute pressure measuring cell and
a special, temperature-compensating isolating system.
The hydrostatic pressure of the medium or the process pressure
causes a capacitance change in the measuring cell via the metal pro-
cess diaphragm and the isolating liquid. This change is converted into
an electrical signal, compared with an integrated reference pressure
measurement and outputted as measured value via the output signal.
The CERTEC
®
measuring cell is also equipped with a temperature
sensor. The temperature value can be displayed via the display and
adjustment module or processed via the signal output.
Power is supplied via the H1 Fieldbus. A two-wire cable according to
Fieldbus specification serves as carrier of both power and digital data
for multiple sensors. This cable can be operated in two versions:
