3 Mounting
Antenna covers • for VEGAPULS 68

3. Insert sensor with the antenna cover into the socket, the cover
must encircle the vessel flange, the flange holes must align
4. Using a permanent marker, mark the openings in the flange collar
of the antenna cover
5. Dismount the sensor, detach antenna cover and cut out the
marked openings with a sharp knife
6. Insert the sensor with cover into the socket again, the cover must
completely encircle the socket flange, the flange holes must align
7. Tighten the flange
Proceed as follows:
1. Pull the form seal over the parabolic antenna, make sure that the
antenna edge is evenly covered

2. Pull the antenna cover over the silicone ring
3. Pull the tension band over the antenna cover
4. Tighten the screw of the tension band until the antenna cover and
the silicone form seal fit together tightly
