VEGABAR 41 (4 … 20 mA)

Setup
3 Adjustment of zero
Adjust zero with the "+“ or "–“ key
and save with the "OK“ key.
4 Adjustment of span
Adjust span with the "+“ or "–“ key
and save with the "OK“ key.
Note:
- A modification of zero does not influence
the span, i.e. the final value of the measur-
ing range will simply be shifted.
- By pushing the "+“ and "–“ keys, the output
current remains on the last value, after
saving with the "OK“ key, the output current
takes on the adjusted value.
Evaluation
Adjustment of the integration time
An integration time t
i
of 0 s ... 10 s
can be adjusted with the “+” or “-”
key for damping of pressure
shocks. The adjusted value can be saved
with the "OK“ key.
Selection of the indicated unit
The actually measured pressure is
indicated on the DOT-matrix in the
measured value indication. The
appropriate unit can be chosen
with the "+“ or "–“ key and the "OK“
key from a list. When choosing the
unit "Scal.“, the following menu
items are available.
Indication scaling
In operating condition, the actual measured
pressure is displayed on the display module:
- as a bar graph with 20 segments
- as a 4-digit digital value.

Bar graph and digital value relate to the ad-
justed measuring range and change in pro-
portion to the current output. Digital values
< –10 % or > 110 % are shown as flashing
figures.
As a result of scaling, the 4 mA or 20 mA
user-specific current output values are sent
to the display module as 4-digit digital val-
ues.
Outputs
Current output/Selection of the character-
istics
The current output provides the actual meas-
ured pressure as an analogue current signal
4 … 20 mA depending on the adjustment.
The characteristics can be also
inverted, i.e. switched to 20 ... 4 mA
with the "+“ or "–“ keys and the
"OK“ key
Fault signal
The fault signal is triggered via the current
output if, during continuous self-monitoring,
failures, damage or interference of the meas-
uring cell or the electronics are detected.
You can choose whether the failure
current should be 22 mA or 3.6 mA
with the "+“ or "–“ keys and the
"OK“ key.
