Before connecting, make
sure that the electrical supply
voltage is compatible with the
devices voltage require-
ments.
CAUTION
Remove the AC plug from the
outlet if the device will not be
used for a long period of
time.
Do not attempt to repair this
device yourself; there are no
user-serviceable parts inside.
Do not allow water to splash
or spill onto the device in
order to avoid fire and electric
shock.
Do not obstruct the natural
ventilation of the device; do
not place it in closed book-
shelves or on shelves were
there is not good ventilation.
Do not place sources of open
flames, like candles, on the
device.
In case of malfunction, con-
tact an authorized service
center.
CLOCK
Open the battery compart-
ment (13) and install one 6F-
22 type 9V battery (not
included). The battery is used
to save information regarding
the current time and alarm
settings in case of AC power
interruption.
Set the Auto/Off/On (1)
selector to the Off position
and plug the power plug into
the outlet; the display will
start to blink.
To set the current time, press
and hold the TIME (6) button,
then use the HOUR (3) and
MIN (2) buttons to set the
current time.
SETTING THE ALARM TIME
Press and hold the ALARM
(4) button; use the HOUR (2)
and MIN (3) buttons to set
the desired alarm time.
