Shift-Control Mechanism
Lightweight, mobile, and exceptionally comfortable, Centé is designed to meet
the needs of caregivers while providing advanced technology for patients. Centé
features therapeutic surfaces that disperse pressure, permeable materials for
air circulation, and a proprietary shift-control mechanism to enable safe patient
handling during the course of recovery.

Safe Patient Handling
To increase safety during ingress, an elevated forward
incline decreases the distance from standing to sitting.
For safe egress, Centé’s
shift-control mechanism lifts
and repositions the patient’s center of gravity, reducing
caregiver lifting effort.
Pressure Management
Seat and back suspension surfaces and
10° recline reduce spinal pressure and
disperse body pressure to provide a safe
and comfortable healing posture.
Air Circulation
Permeable seating materials provide
therapeutic benefit by allowing for
necessary air circulation around
