Connecting to Your Computer
To update your software and load additional maps or
Custom POIs, you need to connect your 2720 to your
computer using the USB cable provided.
Note: Do not connect the USB cable to your
computer until you have loaded the USB drivers
using the enclosed CD-ROM.
Step 1: Load USB Drivers
Place the enclosed USB Driver CD-ROM into your
computer’s CD-ROM drive.
If the CD-ROM does not start automatically, click
Start
and then run… . Type the letter of your CD-ROM drive
followed by setup (for example d:\setup ). Then press
enter .
Follow the instructions on your computer screen.
Step 2: Plug in the USB cable:
1. Connect the power cable.
2. Lift the bottom flap of the weather cap.
3. Plug the mini-USB connector into the connector
on the back of the 2720, under the weather cap.
4. Plug the other end of the cable into an available
USB connector on your computer.
