13. Do not use the appliance without water in it.
14. Avoid contact with steam from the spout when the water is boiling or just after the kettle has
switched off. DO NOT be anxious to uncover the lid.
15. Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling. Scalding may occur if
the lid is removed during the boiling cycles.
16. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
17. The kettle can only be used with the stand provided.
18. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may over boil.
19. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
20. This kettle can only be used with the attached power base.
21. The use of accessory attachments that are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
22. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
23. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
operation
It is recommended to use the kettle for several times following instructions given below and to
remove remaining water before first usage. This will remove any materials or dust remained in the
appliance from the manufacturing process.
Open the lid and pour water into the kettle. When the kettle is put on the main base and switched
on, a beep will sound.
