PRESET/TUNING/CH l / h to

select a preset station number (1 to 8) while
the MEMORY indicator is flashing.

• Press 5h to select a higher preset station number.
• Press 5l to select a lower preset station number.

MEMORY while the MEMORY

indicator is flashing.
The station band and frequency appear in the front
panel display with the preset station group and
number you have selected. The MEMORY indicator
disappears from the front panel display.

• Any stored station data existing under a preset station

number is cleared when you store a new station under the
same preset station number.

• The reception mode (stereo or monaural) is stored along

with the station frequency.

You can tune into any desired station simply by selecting
the preset station group and number under which it was
stored.

When performing this operation with the remote control, set the

operation mode selector to

K

SOURCE and then press TUNER

to select “TUNER” as the input source.

Press 4

A/B/C/D/E (or press DA-E/CAT. l /

h) to select the desired preset station group
(A to E).
The preset station group letter appears in the front
panel display and changes each time you press the
button.

Press 5

PRESET/TUNING/CH l / h on the

front panel (or D

PRESET/CH k / n on the

remote control) to select the desired preset
station number (1 to 8).
The preset station group and number appear in the
front panel display along with the station band and
frequency.

You can exchange the assignments of two preset stations
with each other. The example below describes the
procedure to exchange preset station “E1” with “A5”.

EDIT for more than 3

seconds.
“E1” and the MEMORY indicator flash in the front
panel display.

Select preset station “A5” using 4

A/B/C/D/

“A5” and the MEMORY indicator flash in the front
panel display.

Press 2

EDIT again.

“EDIT E1–A5” appears in the front panel display and
the assignments of the two preset stations are
exchanged.
