Q1: What do the signal indicators mean on my NBG410W3G series?

This is only adapted in the model NBG410W3G. As for the signal indicator in the NBG410W3G,

you can refer to the following table to check the meaning of signal strength.

3G Operation

3G

3G is not enabled, or
3G is not registered to network, or
User chooses USB dongle as 3G interface.

Blue

Blinking

Module is registered to 3.5G network, but
not connected yet.
Blink once every 5 seconds.

On

Module is connected to 3.5G network and
ready to transfer data.

Green

Blinking

Module is registered to 3G network, but not
connected yet.
Blink once every 5 seconds.

On

Module is connected to 3G network and
ready to transfer data.

Orange

Blinking

Module is registered to 2G or 2.5G
network, but not connected yet.
Blink once every 5 seconds.

ON

Module is connected to 2G or 2.5G
network and ready to transfer data.

3G Signal Strength

Signal

Off

3G is not enabled, or
No signal is detected, or
User chooses USB dongle as 3G interface.

Blue

3G signal status at Strong (-86dBm ~ -47dBm) 3G
signal strength

Green

3G signal status at Medium (-101dBm ~-87dBm) 3G
