3. FILE PLAYBACK CONTROLS
Name Icon Usage
Menu — If the DVD has its own menu screen, press this key to display it.
Play/Pause During pause: Press to resume playback.
During playback: Press to temporarily stop playback.
Stop Press to stop file playback.
Setup — Press to display the dedicated DVD setup menu. Go to the next page for
more information.
Fast reverse Press to scan the audio/video file backward.
Skip reverse Press to go to the previous chapter, track, or picture in the current disc/
folder. Each time you press this key, a chapter, track, or picture is skipped.
Fast forward Press to scan the audio/video file forward.
Skip forward Press to go to the next chapter, track, or picture in the current disc/folder.
Each time you press this key, a chapter, track, or picture is skipped.
NOTE: Each press of the and keys increases the scan speed (x 2, x 4, x 8, and x 20). To resume
normal playback, press .
The remote control has eight dedicated keys for controlling file playback, as well as for accessing the DVD
setup menu. Use these keys to control playback for all multimedia file formats supported by this unit.
