Installation
Connect Power and Telephone Line Cords
Modular
telephone jack
Standard
electrical outlet
Connect the power cord . After
charging the battery for at least
6 hours, connect the telephone
line cord .
• Install the base unit
away from electronic
equipment such
a s p e r s o n a l
computers,
television sets or
microwave ovens .
Avoid excessive
heat, cold, dust or
moisture .
• Connect the power
a n d t e l e p h o n e
line cords to the
underside of the
base as illustrated .
• P l u g t h e A C
adapter into an
electrical outlet . If
the battery has not
been previously
charged,
place the handset in
the base, and allow
it to charge for 6
hours (or overnight) .
Connect
the telephone line
cord to the wall
jack .
