Select the required sound for the loudspeakers.
AUTO/STEREO position enables you obtain MONO sound for
mono broadcasts and STEREO for stereo broadcasts.
*NICAM is a digital sound transmission system, it enables you to receive
broadcasts in high quality STEREO or DUAL SOUND, Analogue MONO sound is
transmitted simultaneously (MONO in NICAM STEREO or SOUND 3 in NICAM 3).
Select the Effect line (red key).
Select :
Normal = normal sound
Wide = stereo-effect sound for mono broadcasts
wide stereo sound for stereo broadcasts.
Select the Balance line (red key).
Balance the sound between the left and right channels.
Repeat the same procedure to select and successively adjust the
Bass and Treble.
