ANSWERING A CALL

When a call is received, the phone rings and
the LCD displays as shown.

Press
to connect.
“Talk” and the volume setting appears on the
LCD.

To hang up, press
or place the handset
on the base unit.
OUT OF RANGE
During a call, as you begin to move too far from the base unit, you first
hear a clicking sound. As you travel farther, the noise increases.
Then, you should move close to the base unit. If you travel out-of-
range, your call terminates.
CALL WAITING
To use this feature, you must subscribe to the Call Waiting Service.

When you hear a call-waiting tone while you are already talking on
the phone, simply press
.

To take the original call back, press
again.
NOTE:
Pressing
without receiving a Call Waiting signal may disconnect the
current caller.
