Selected Paging
The Selected Paging permits simultaneous paging of
arbitrary stations or zones selected freely at a master
station. It is broadly divided into two classifications:
Individually Selected Paging and Matrix Selected Paging.
Each function offers the following paging modes.
A. Individually Selected Paging.
This function is used when simultaneously paging multiple
individual stations or zones.
(1) Selected Station Paging
A group of selected stations can be paged within an
independent
system,
including
tie-line
systems
connected by means of the TI-62.
(2) Selected Zone Paging
A group of selected zones can be paged within an
independent
system,
including
tie-line
systems
connected by means of the TI-62.
(3) Selected Rented Line Station Paging
A group of selected stations can be paged over separate
exchange systems connected using the TI-600 via
rented lines.
(4) Selected Rented Line Zone Paging
A group of selected zones can be paged over separate
exchange systems connected using the TI-600 via
rented lines.
(5) Selected Global All-Call Paging
All-call paging can be provided over separate exchange
systems connected using the TI-600 via rented lines. The
system having the station that has paged is also
covered.
A. Individually selected paging

However, the number decreases depending on the
number of available links.
When any one station in a paged group is busy, this
function cannot be used.

A maximum of 20 zones can be paged simultaneously.
However, the number decreases depending on the
number of available links. When any one zone in a paged
group is busy, this function cannot be used.

(6) Selected External All-Call Paging
This is the same as the Global All-Call Paging except that
the system having an operating station is not covered.
B. Matrix Selected Paging.
This function is used when paging one same group of
selected stations or zones simultaneously over separate
exchange systems connected using the TI-600 via rented
lines.
(1) Global Matrix Station Paging
One same group of selected stations can be paged over
separate exchange systems simultaneously. The system
having an operating station is also covered.
(2) External Matrix Station Paging
This is the same as the Global Matrix Station Paging
except that the system having an operating station is not
covered.
(3) Global Matrix Zone Paging
One same group of selected zones can be paged over
separate systems simultaneously. The system having an
oeprating station is also covered.
(4) External Matrix Zone Paging
This is the same as the Global Matrix Zone Paging
except that the system having an oeprating station is not
covered.
