FST PURE ® 4:3 (480i) Flat Tube Design - Due to its flat design, viewing
angle and picture linearity are greatly improved over traditional tube
designs, delivering the most accurate, life-like images possible.
Digital Picture Zoom - This interactive DVD feature allows the user to
select an area of the picture to zoom in on and magnify it. Enhanced digi-
tal processing during moving video or freeze-frame playback produces
superior color fidelity and resolution, even when zoomed in. Also can
be used to expand letterbox-only films to increase the viewable area
on-screen.
JPEG Viewer - Enables the display of digital photographs captured in
the JPEG format. Simply load the CD with your favorite photos and
create custom slide shows with a few simple clicks of the player's remote
control.
AUDIO
Double Baffle Stereo Speaker System - These front-firing, side-mount-
ed speakers deliver the best stereo sound by keeping the sonic image
widely separated within the cabinet.
VHS Hi-Fi Stereo - Delivers the highest quality stereo sound from tapes
recorded with a high fidelity soundtrack.
WMA & MP3 Playback - Recordable Compact Discs (CD-R & CD-RW)
with music stored in either the Windows Media™ Audio or MP3 file
formats are compatible with the DVD player.
StableSound ® - This feature maintains television volume within a preset
range regardless of the source signal. This eliminates the annoyance of
normal program volume being followed immediately by extremely loud
commercial messages or drastic volume fluctuations while changing
channels.
Coaxial Dolby ® Digital and DTS ® Surround Sound Output - Use the
single RCA-type output jack to send signature multi-channel audio to an
audio/video receiver with a compatible input.
CONVENIENCE
USB - Toshiba Combo models featuring a USB Interface will support
"mass storage classification devices" for simple multimedia playback.
These formats include JPEG, WMA, MP3, and DivX (unencripted).These
devices include: most USB memory sticks and memory card readers,
certain digital cameras, and certain other USB devices with storage
capability.
SD Bridge Recording allow the user to record content received via the
HD tuners onto VHS in a Standard Definition format. Models with this fea-
ture will receive the HD signal, downconvert it to SD and record it on a
VHS tape. The recording will be unconverted during playback.
Icon TV/VCR Menu, Text DVD - Offers simple operation by using picture
symbols of key menu functions instead of plain text. Quickly access
various TV features via pull down menus.
Picture Preference Modes - Includes preset picture settings tailored for
various programs and allows quick adjustments at the touch of a button.
Instead of accessing Brightness, Contrast, Color, or Tint each time you
switch from a movie to a sporting event, use the preset Picture
Preference Modes (Standard, Sports, Movie, Memory) to change the
quality of the picture without all the fuss. The Memory Mode allows you to
customize your own settings and save them into the television's memory.
Commercial Skip for VCR - After a program has been recorded, press-
ing the SKIP button once during playback will automatically advance the
tape 30-seconds forward bypassing recorded commercials. Pressing the
skip button on the remote again will advance the recorded tape for anoth-
er 30-seconds for a total of 60-seconds (30 sec x 6 Maximum).
