Noise will be reduced in
the file when it’s played
back for better sound
quality.
When the earphone is used, the recorder speaker will be
switched-off. Playback is in monaural.
To avoid irritation to the ear, insert the
earphone after turning down the volume
level. When you listen with the earphone
during playback, do not raise the volume
too much. It may cause hearing impair-
ment and a decrease in hearing ability.
• Earphone is not supplied.

s If the 0 or 9 button is pressed and held while the recorder is in playback
mode, the fi le advances with sound.
s If the 0 or 9 button is pressed while the recorder is in stop mode, the
recorder moves to the beginning of the fi le.
s Fast forwarding and rewinding are possible beyond the date.
Playback speed can be
changed to the following
settings: 0.5x, 0.75x, normal,
1.25x, and 1.5x.
The file is played back as it
was recorded.
• When the NOISE CANCEL switch is set to [ON], playback
speed returns to normal playback.
Search for files
by the date they
were recorded.

When searching for a fi le recorded on October 15.
The date display
appears.
Select October 15.
The first file is
played back.
If the file is skipped,
the recorder
switches to the
next file.
