Telepen is a variable length symbology with a check digit and non printable start/stop characters. Supported characters include
numeric digits 00 through 99 in numeric mode, and all 128 ASCII characters in full ASCII mode.
The check digit calculation is derived from the sum of all data characters modulo 127. The check digit cannot be transmitted.
