With your ONE FOR ALL 4 Remote it is possible to change the mode of a
device key. This is useful if you want the ONE FOR ALL 4 to operate more
than one of the same device types such as two Televisions or two Video
Recorders for example.
Example: to program a second Video Recorder on the SAT key, you
need to change the SAT key into a VCR key.
1 Press and hold down the MAGIC key until the red light
blinks twice (the red light will blink once then twice).
2 Press 9 9 2. The red light will blink twice.
3 Press the VCR key (the device mode you want to duplica-
te).
4 Now press the SAT key (the device mode key you want
changed) and the red light will blink twice.
The SAT key of the ONE FOR ALL 4 is now ready to be set-up for your video
cassette recorder. To enter the Set-up code for your second VCR, proceed
with the setup procedure on page 6 remembering to use VCR codes for the
SAT key.
Resetting a Device Key
Example: to reset the SAT key back to its original mode.
1 Hold down the MAGIC key until the red light blinks twice (the red
light will blink once then twice).
2 Press 9 9 2. The red light will blink twice.
3 Press the SAT key (the device mode you want to reset).
4 Now press the SAT key again to confirm and the red light will blink
twice.
Now your SAT key of the ONE FOR ALL 4 is ready to be programmed for
your satellite receivers and cable converters again. To enter the Set-up code
for your satellite receiver or cable converter, proceed with the setup proce-
dure on page 6.
