Fast Forward / Fast Reverse

during playback to select the required
forward or reverse speed.

Set “STILL MODE” to “FIELD” in the “OTHERS” menu if
pictures in the fast playback mode are blurred. (Refer to
page 42.)
Fast forward / fast reverse speed is varies with disc.
Approximate speed is 1(2x), 2(8x), 3(20x), 4(50x) and 5(100x)
on DVD and 1(2x), 2(8x) and 3(30x) on audio CD, video CD
and MP3.
For DVD and video CD, sound will be muted during the
search.
For audio CD and MP3, sound will be intermittent during the
search. •

Slow Forward / Slow Reverse

Zoom
DVD VCD JPEG
The zoom function allows you to enlarge the video image and to pan
through the enlarged image.
1 During playback, press [ZOOM].
The picture becomes twice as large.
2 Press [ZOOM] repeatedly to change the zoom factor,
“2x” or “4x”.

3 Once a desired zoom factor is set,
use [Cursor K / L / s / B] to slide the zoomed picture
across the TV screen.
4 Press [ZOOM] repeatedly to exit zoom mode.
Note:
Zoom function does not work while the disc menu is
displayed.
4x zoom is not available on some discs.
Only 2x zoom is available on video CD and JPEG files.
Zoom function is also available during pause mode.
Position guide is not available for JPEG files. •

MP3, JPEG Playback
MP3 JPEG
MP3 or JPEG is a method of compressing files. You can copy MP3 or JPEG
files on CD-RW/-R from the personal computer and play back the files on
this unit.
1 Insert an CD-RW/-R with MP3 or JPEG files, playback
starts automatically.
Press [PLAY B] if the disc is already inserted.
Press [DISC MENU] when you want to call up the file
list.
When selecting the folder:
Press [Cursor B] when you want to go to the next
hierarchy.

Press [Cursor s] when you want to go back to the

If [TITLE] is pressed when a file list is displayed, the
1st item in the top hierarchy will be highlighted.
Press [DISC MENU] or [BACK/RETURN] to go back to
playback display.
2 Press [STOP C] once to stop playback temporarily.
