appears and the TAD

2. Speak your message in a normal voice about 8 inches (20
cm) from the front of the TAD. The display counts down the
seconds as you record.
Hint: Do not tell callers that you are not home. Instead, say
that you cannot come to the phone right now.
3. When you finish recording, release
ANNOUNCE
. The TAD
beeps and repeats the outgoing message so you can verify
it.
Notes:
• To play the outgoing message at any time, press
ANNOUNCE
. If no outgoing message is recorded, the TAD
says “No announcement.”
• To record a new message, begin again from Step 1.
